Summary

The Axon Raptor project aimed to create a real-time monitoring dashboard for robotic picking operations, allowing warehouse managers to track order fulfillment, device health, and task failures effortlessly.

The impact:

This project was particularly challenging as there were no design precedents for a robotic picking system like Raptor. Working closely with PMs, developers, and warehouse SMEs, I ensured the design was scalable, action-oriented, and clear, ultimately helping the client reduce downtime and improve operational efficiency.

1. What is RAPTOR?

RAPTOR is a real-time robotic palletizing & depalletizing system inside a Warehouse Execution System.

It visualizes the robots, conveyors, and 7×5 buffer racks in live time, and acts as the interface between:

Its purpose: give supervisors and operators a single digital twin view to monitor, diagnose, and execute work inside a Raptor cell.
